West Allegheny bounces back with huge win over Hampton.

Right from kickoff West A set the tempo against the Talbots. Kyle Marett got things rolling with a 65-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage on a sweep to the near sideline outrunning Hampton’s backs and secondary. 17 seconds in West A led 7-0. Just over 5 minutes later Kyle Marett would run in his second touchdown on a 1-yard score to increase the Indian lead to 14-0. But, the Talbots would not go away late in the 1st quarter thanks to a 9-yard touchdown pass from Matt Dematteo to Will Schuit to the near side of the endzone, to cut the lead in half 14-7 with 1:33 remaining in the 1st quarter.

But that would be all of the Talbots scoring as West A never looked back after allowing one touchdown pass. A minute sixteen seconds into the second quarter Kyle Marett would pick up the hat trick with a 4-yard touchdown run to add to West A’s lead 21-7.
