The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired DB Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2020 1st Round Pick. It’s been a rough start for the Dolphins this season as they have been out scored in two weeks 102-10. Fitzpatrick requested a trade from Miami after they were blown out in Week 1 59-10 by the Ravens. The Dolphins granted Fitzpatrick a trade in hope to rebuild their team and replace the 1st Round pick they used to draft him. And that’s what they got with the Steelers.

On the other end of the trade Pittsburgh swallowed a tough pill when Ben Roethlisberger underwent season ending elbow surgery. Ben was injured in the 1st half of the 28-26 loss to Seattle on September 15th. Although wounded the Steelers aren’t dead yet as they are putting their faith in second year quarterback Mason Rudolph. Rudolph showed he was more than capable on Sunday when he completed 12 of his 19 passes for 112-yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT.

Last season Fitzpatrick had 2 INTs and 1 TD. This season he has 8 tackles and 1 forced fumble. Fitzpatrick was the 11th overall pick out of Alabama in 2018.
